Global Health Leadership, DrPH

Are you a full-time mid- to senior-level professional whose organization can influence the health of populations? If so, consider the DrPH in Global Health Leadership, which will prepare you to be a knowledgeable and innovative leader capable of addressing the challenging and complex public health issues facing the world today.

As a student in this three-year, cohort-based distance education program, you will take classes via real-time internet video, meet your classmates face to face three times a year in year 1 and year 2, and complete your dissertation in year 3. You will complete 15 graduate credit hours in leadership, 7 credit hours in public health, and 23 credits in research.

The program cultivates your leadership skills through diverse experiences and exposure to a wide range of perspectives. You learn experientially, through highly interactive debates and discussions. Unique advantages of the program include:

Global curriculum. All courses will be internationalized. Competencies gained will be applicable whether individuals live and work in Indiana, the U.S., or anywhere in the world.

Global faculty. In addition to U.S.-based faculty, program faculty will include international faculty based in other parts of the world.

Global network. The program will leverage relationships with other schools and programs, including opportunities to collaborate with faculty and students based around the world.
