Health Informatics, M.S.

The M.S. in Health Informatics integrates knowledge from informatics, health care, health information technology, and other disciplines to analyze and protect patient data, increase health care efficiencies, and produce higher quality patient care.

As a student in the program, you complete 36 semester hours of graduate credit.

Graduates of the program play a critical role in health care organizations by leading the design, development, implementation, management, and integration of electronic health record systems, m-health, and other technologies. These individuals often have a passion for improving health care and making a difference in their community and in the world. Graduates work on a wide array of projects in hospitals, doctors’ offices, insurance companies, government agencies, and health IT software companies.
